This article is about becoming the William H. Seward and not the Sarah Palin of your fantasy football league, though Palin has proven that the librarian bun is the most versatile of all world-domination hairstyles.
Fantasy football is never about your draft. Obviously picking 14 kickers for your league will not prove advantageous, but similarly, how many teams that had Chris Johnson won their leagues last year? Or even those with Adrian Peterson? For the majority of nfl throwback jerseys
you, it wasn’t the case in your league. If however, you were in the league with the fellow that owned Miles Austin, Jamaal Charles, Brent Celek, Pierre Garcon, and Rashard Mendenhall—nearly all undrafted in standard formats—chances are you were looking at the league winner.
As children, we race, fight, taunt, and engage in one-upmanship as much as we can with our friends. But then you leave, join the real world, and it all ends there. It’s not cool to earn the most amongst all your friends, or compare paychecks.
Fantasy football takes us back to childhood. It’s cool to be the best again. Every year everyone has a shot at winning. Luck is a huge factor in deciding the outcome of the league, and you never know even in Week 5 who’ll cash the check in February. In fact the only consistent thing each player can truly be a part of is the waiver wire and free agency. Nothing is cooler than unearthing the gem weeks before you were told to, or prompted so by the myriad of websites, and nothing will put you in a winning position faster.
So with that in mind, here’s my quick tour around the league for the natives of Pittsburgh Steelers jersey
