Are the New England Patriots Losers?

The New England Patriots and their fans were stunned at the start of the season when star quarterback Tom Brady went down on the first series of soccer jerseys the first game of the 2008- 2009 season. It was unthinkable that the omnipresent, indestructible, player's player Brady would be knocked out of soccer jerseys
a game, forget about an entire season.

But Brady had a severe tear in his MCL and ACL. The ACL injury meant that he was out, at the very least, for NFL jerseys
the entire season. The starting field general spot went to Matt Cassel, a perennial back-up in college and the pros. Cassel had played sparingly in his few years in the NFL and was, for the most part, unimpressive.

But despite what many people thought, the 2008- 2009 season was not lost when Brady was injured. The Patriots certainly had their ups and NFL jerseys
downs but the fact is that the team remained competitive to the bitter end, missing the playoffs by a mere tad.


Plan B
What kept the Pats in NFL jerseys the playoff hunt? Well, there were a few things. First and foremost, it was head coach Bill Belichick. his passes and earned a rating of 89.4. His worst stat was the number of times he was sacked—47.

Another important element in the Pats’ success was wide receiver Wes Welker. Welker, who earned a Pro Bowl invite this season, caught 111 passes for 1,165 yards, three touchdowns and 57 first downs. He averaged 10.5 yards per catch.
Running the Ball
The New England running game, which was supposed to feature Laurence Muroney, instead offered a variety of Cheap Ugg Boots rushers, including Sammy Morris, LaMont Jordan and Kevin Faulk. Muroney was injured early in the season and unable to play. The trio of Morris, LaMont and Faulk gained a total of 1,597 yards, averaging 5.1 yards per carry. That’s not a bad rushing attack.

The Pat’s offense was fifth in the league. Their rushing attack was sixth and passing 12th. The team’s average of 25.6 PPG was eighth in the NFL.


All of these elements almost got the Patriots into the playoffs. Instead, they missed the post-season by one win or one loss. Just wait until next year!
